What We Believe
-
First and foremost, we believe it to be God’s intent to have an intimate relationship with His creation – mankind.
This relationship involves obedience, which was broken by the sin of Adam and Eve and caused death to be passed upon all man (Rom 5:12).
Man’s need for redemption and to be reconciled back to God could only be provided through a sinless sacrifice (the Lamb of God). The blood of this sacrifice would provide redemption (i.e. pay the price) for man’s sin – and position him for new birth. Jesus paid the price for our sin when He shed his blood on calvary.

Death, Burial, Resurrection
Paul declares the gospel he preached — to be the death, burialand resurrection of Christ (1 Cor 15:1-4).
Peter gave us the application of the gospel when we believe it, to be through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). The book of Romans teaches us that we are “buried with Him” in baptism.
(Romans 6:4) Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
-
When a person is drawn by the spirit of God, they will turn towards the Lord, which will also cause them to turn away from their old ways and previous will. This is referred to as repentance and a type of death — our own personal cross experience.
We are then instructed by scripture to be baptized by immersion in water, calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Waiting on God, we are then filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
We understand this to be the new birth experience that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about in John 3. This brings man back into right relationship with God through the process of redemption – the application of the blood of Christ, the lamb of God.

Water
We must be water-baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Jesus told Nicodemus that a man cannot enter the kingdom of God, except he be born of water and of the Spirit (John 3:5)

Spirit
We are promised the gift of His Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Encountering disciples of John at Ephesus and having them re-baptized in Jesus’ name was not sufficient for Paul. He then laid his hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost (Acts 19:7), once again confirming Peter’s day of Pentecost words, ‘ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).

We believe that there is only one true God, who has revealed Himself to humanity in a way that is both personal and powerful. God manifested Himself in the flesh through Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, to accomplish His redemptive plan for the world. In Jesus, we see the perfect expression of God’s love, grace, and truth.
God is one in essence, not divided into separate persons or entities. “He is the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15). He exists as a single, unified being who is both transcendent and intimate. As the Father, God reveals His loving care, providing for, guiding, and sustaining His creation. As the Son, God entered into human history to bring salvation through His life, death, and resurrection, “reconciling the world to Himself” (2 Corinthians 5:19). And as the Holy Spirit, God empowers and equips believers today, dwelling within them to guide, teach, and strengthen them spiritual growth.
This understanding of God’s oneness does not diminish His fullness but affirms the complete revelation of His nature through Jesus Christ and the work of His Spirit in the lives of believers. We worship one God, who is at work in the world and in our lives, drawing us into a deeper relationship with Him.

Our Values
We treasure
connection
We believe in the power of connection. As a family united in faith, we embrace the beauty of our diverse backgrounds and experiences, celebrating the strength that comes from unity. Scripture reminds us, "how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1).
We are committed to creating an inclusive community where all are welcomed, valued, and loved. Whether you just found us or have been with Life Church for years, you’ll find a place to belong here.
We are called to worship
At Life Church, we believe worship is at the heart of who we are. Like King David, who declared, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1), we are called to worship with all our hearts, minds, and strength.
We often refer to ourselves as "a Book of Acts church," inspired by the powerful move of God on the day of Pentecost. Just as the early church was filled with the Holy Ghost and began speaking in tongues, proclaiming God's glory and power (Acts 2:1-4), we too are empowered in the same way today. This same spirit enables us to worship freely and walk in spiritual authority, living out our faith with boldness and conviction.
We build ministries
We are passionate about building ministries that make a lasting impact both locally and globally. We are proud to support overseas missionaries who are spreading the gospel and serving communities around the world.
In addition, we offer a variety of teams and ministries for you to get involved in right here at home—whether through outreach, worship, youth programs, or media. We believe that the body of Christ consists of spiritual contributors, not spiritual consumers, and every member has a unique role to play in the mission of the church.
We invite you to join a team and be part of something greater, as we work together to build God's kingdom. Whether you're new or looking for a deeper way to serve, there's an opportunity waiting for you to step in and make a difference.
